Heckrodt Wetland Reserve

I love to go for walks at the local wetland reserve, and I love it even more when everything is green and the birds are flying above! I took Noah the other day and it was just gorgeous. Noah was saying "Bird? Bird?" the whole time and was pointing at the birds. So much fun!

And of course some cute Noah pics!!

Grass... Friend or Foe?

The other day I decided to hang out with Noah in the yard since Daddy was gone with the car and it was gorgeous out. So I took Noah out barefoot to let him feel the grass between his toes... He was quick to let me know how much he appreciated my gesture...

I have the best job ever

Just a few recent pictures from the last week, I am so lucky to be able to stay home and play with Noah all day!

Blocks are the BEST!!

Somersault!! He does this "pose" until I flip him over. Him and I both get a kick out of it.

Do a little dance

That's not to say we are without the occasional fit though..
(no he didn't pinch his fingers, I took a Wii remote from him and put it in the drawer)

Loving this age!

Noah is at the age now where he no longer EATS the crayons he actually COLORS with them!! I'm loving it, I have always been the artsy type, I love using my creativity and I can only hope that I am able to pass that on to my children, starting with Noah of course!!

Noah did his first painting with A LOT of help from Mommy in March, but this was before he actually understood what we were doing, it was more for me than it was for him.
Now he LOVES to color and enjoys painting too,
here are a few pics from our most recent project...

He decided to paint his belly too

The finished project!

Happy Mother's Day!

This weekend I Celebrated my 2nd Mother's Day as Noah's Mommy. Adam woke up with Noah, and made me breakfast. Noah recently learned to color with crayons and not eat them so he colored me a picture that is now hanging on my refrigerator :) Noah read me a book and we played soccer for a little bit. Then we visited with family and just had an overall good day :)

We went to the Milwaukee Museum on Monday after Mother's Day as a special treat for me. Noah did pretty well, he didn't nap on the drive and he finally passed out in his stroller around 1:30! I loved the butterfly garden and could have spent all day in there.. In fact I probably did spent the majority of our time in there taking pictures!

It's so hard to believe this time last year Noah was my chubby little 3 month old baby and this year he is just nonstop running everywhere! I love him so much and am so lucky to be his Mommy!

15 months

Tomorrow Noah will be 15 months.... 15 months. It's like my life is in fast forward. One day he's this tiny little bundle of love and the next he's running around my feet only pausing to give me a hug and a kiss before he goes on to his next "task". I feel so blessed to have him in my life. It's like he was always here, was there life before him??
I love waking up to his little voice talking about "vroom vrooms" or "babies", and walking into his room and seeing his perfect smile and being on the receiving end of a sloppy Noah kiss.
He is my world.
I love you baby boy, keep growing and learning, just remember to stop and give me a kiss every now and then. Love, Mommy
